Are you aware of any published procedures for doing this? I just got
bit by the "all you gotta do is...". I tried to downgrade my iPad Mini
and iPad Retina back iOS 6 so I could continue using them with Xcode
4.6. Lo and behold, the "factory restore" failed and I'm still on iOS
7 (or the restore now considers iOS 7 the "factory default").
This shit is really getting old....
