Is this possible with XCode 5.1? If not, then I can’t see the point of replicating the seach bar panel in every window, why not just have a search window?

I’m changing something in a lot of files, the “results” do stay the same, which is the problem, i want them to change. e.g. I do a seach, then change the first 100 instances of "fred" to “george", then I look back into the serach results and I have lost my place! If I repeat the same search, the first 100 instances now don’t display, leaving just the ones that need attention.

Yes, it would, and we used to have something better than that, in that there used to be a Pop Up Menu that showed the last N Search Terms but for some reason it’s been taken out.

Would be better just to put that code back in, IMO!

Thanks
Dave
