Specifying iCloud Container Environment

| I recently addd iCloud support to my iOS app due to requirements of the new Document Picker extension.
Now when I export my app archive in Xcode, I see a new step in the archive process: “Select options for entitlements”
Which has an option for: “iCloud Container Environment”
And I can select “Production” or “Development”
This is fine. However, I want to create the ipa using xcodebuild in my build script. I also want to specify the ‘Development’ iCloud container environment for our beta builds.
Unfortunately, I don’t see an option to select this environment in xcodebuild. Nor do I see how to specify this in the entitlements file.
So, what is the approved way to configure this setting when using xcodebuild? Do I need to modify my entitlements file directly?
