Using the drag directly inside the canvas of IB and hope to see all the possible constraints for now is not available.
Dragging with a 45 degree angle allow to set two direction at one time so for all four you need only two total dragging and it's not a big deal.
You can try to drag between views inside the outline panel on the left side of the IB document or file a bug request with the enhancement.
