Actually, it was a tech note, which I found by searching the developer site for “unwind segue”:

	https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/technotes/tn2298/_index.html

If it makes you feel any better, I got it right the first time by accident, then spent hours trying to recreate the segue on a second occasion before I re-read the tech note very, very carefully. :)
