My iDevices both got the current version.
Deleted the book in iBooks on Mac. Got an icon with a cloud in the corner. Clicked the cloud. It started downloading.
Then:
while (patience not lost) { "An unknown error occured." Retry }
Well, so much for the book (can still read it on iPad though).
