What was the last time they started a new list? Was it in the 21st century? I'm not sure the old sparc-2 the list server runs on has enough RAM for another list title.
Discussion of the language should probably head over to Cocoa-dev, I think, possibly, it's the closest there is. Discussion of implementation and how Xcode deals with implementation belongs here. Swift is coming, I embraced storyboards, I leapt into ARC with both feet, Swift may take a little longer but the tide is coming in and I'm going to have to learn it sooner or later, by next year all the templates ain't gonna be in ObjC.
