Can't create new outlets using Assistant Editor

Xcode 5.1

The Assistant Editor doesn't seem to be working correctly with my iOS project. When on Automatic, if I select any of my View Controllers, the Assistant Editor display is blank, showing "No Assistant Results". When set to Manual, it won't allow me connect any new outlets into the proper .h file, saying:
"Could not insert new outlet connection: Could not find any information for the class named CHViewController"

In the Identity Inspector it shows "Class: CHViewController" (or whatever the class of the view controller I'm working on is). The other elements in the view are connected, but it seems it won't allow any more new connections.

What could be going wrong?
-Carl
