Hi,
Trying to implement receipt validation in a Mac App Store context (OS
X Mavericks v10.9.2, Xcode 5.1), I'm currently stuck failing to be
served a development receipt from Apple, as per "Test During the
Development Process" [1].
As described in this programming guide, double-clicking the built app
leads to status 173 (since there's no receipt to validate yet) and
triggers a system dialog requesting my Apple ID and corresponding
password.
Alas submitting my valid* iTunes credentials there leads to the
following error message: "The Apple ID you entered couldn't be found
or your password was incorrect. Please try again."
(*) Yes, I'm sure those credentials are valid since I use them many
times a day ;) !
I failed to find any references to such a situation on the Web or on
this mailing list's archives, and just posted something on Apple's
devforums. Any ideas?
Thanks,
