Oh, also, you can set the command-line args from the scheme editor. Select Run from the list on the left, the click the Arguments tab.

I don’t want to say “RTFM", because there really aren’t any Xcode docs worth speaking of, but some further exploration of the Xcode UI (or maybe a 3rd party book?) might be in order.
