sandbox problem

App is currently in app store, works fine through 10.9.5. On 10.10, it won't launch, trouble starts with the following message in console:

10/7/14 3:38:25.433 PM secinitd[231]: MyAppName[930]: registration request failed: (0x11, 0x0) invalid character in bundle Id "/Library/Preferences/com.my-company.myapp.plist" at offset 0

???
