It would be nice to hear your findings. I have no answer for you.

What I can tell you is that we have not used enterprise manifests for a while now — that's why I did not stumble upon the new interface.

We use a distribution service (HockeyApp) to distribute the Apps internally, removing the need for a manifest.plist.

Maybe Apple thought that's what everyone does not?
