Cannot validate app with Xcode6

  • Subject: Cannot validate app with Xcode6

When validating my app archive, I get a strange error in Xcode 6.0.1:
"Unable to find an iTunes Connect user for username 1234567890. This username may not be enabled for iTunes Connect. Contact your team admin for assistance.”
(The username was a 10-digit number, I changed it for the mailing list just in case it’s something confidential.)

I got this error after the following steps:
- archive the app
- in Organizer, select the archive and press Validate…
- select the Development Team from the drop-down list
- press the Validate button in the dialog

Obviously that number is not my real user name (which is, of course, an E-Mail address). I’ve uploaded previous versions of this app with the same account for 3 years now and never had such a problem. However, this is the first time I upload an app with Xcode 6…

So far I tried to create a new certificate and a new provisioning profile, but always got the same error message.
(BTW — my team admin could not help me with this, all user settings in the Member Center seem OK.)

Any idea how I can fix this?

Thanks,
Martin
