Point taken, and I’ve just filed two Radars covering the issues I described.

So, has anyone been able to use Instruments to track network I/O in an iOS app? I want to see the times and byte-counts of individual socket reads and writes, and correlate them with the activity shown by the time profiler. (I’ll ask this on macnetworkprog too.)
