This is great, and solves my immediate problems. $20 is worth it to save
the headaches!
My other question remains:
So, I did a bit of digging around on my computer. I found a bunch of documentation (4.5 GB worth) in /Library/Developer/Documentation/DocSets, but they date from 2011, and the names imply that they date from Xcode 4. I can safely delete those, can't I?
Is it OK to remove this? I assume so, but nobody has said anything one
way or the other. Saving 4.5 GB is worth the effort.
Also, what about older docsets in
~/Library/Developer/Shared/Documentation? I see that I have
documentation for Lion, 10.8, iOS 6.1, and Developer Tools 4.3 and 4.6,
as well as current versions. Are they safe to delete (or archive somewhere)?
