Upload to App Store without Xcode or Uploader app

  • Subject: Upload to App Store without Xcode or Uploader app

I’m trying to integrate the new TestFlight for iOS 8 into my automated build process. That is, I want to do a build of my iOS app using a Jenkins server, and upload the resulting ipa to the App Store using a command-line tool. e.g. curl

I currently have a script do this with the old TestFlight website and Hockey but we now want to use the latest and greatest so I need to use the new TestFlight as a deployment option.

Looking through the Apple iTunes Connect documentation, there is only mention of using Xcode or the Application Uploader to upload apps to the App Store. Also, searches on Stack Overflow, web don’t turn up anything about using a command-line tool to do do this upload.

Any chances I’m missing something? Or SOL?

Thanks.
