Alex & Roland,
Yes, I do have /Developer still there, but I don’t use it much anymore. The question is, why is this plugin “blacklisted”, and are there any others out there that are also blacklisted? I’m asking because my app loads and uses all the installed Spotlight plugins on a machine, and I would like to exclude blacklisted plugins for obvious reasons. I would just like to know if there is something more general about “blacklisted” Spotlight plugins that I should know, i.e. is there a list out there somewhere?

Sounds more like it’s an old mdimporter from a very old version of Xcode which is no-longer needed so Apple blacklisted it so it doesn’t spin up resources doing nothing useful.
