You probably need to google a little less specifically about mono and about deleting or removing frameworks or items from an Xcode project.

In all likelihood you have some references in your project build settings and maybe some include or import statements.

Do you have a project snapshot to rollback to or version control ?
If not, it's a hard lesson but one we all go through.
