clang crash on AVX intrinsic

  • Subject: clang crash on AVX intrinsic

Hi all,

I have run into the same problem described here:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/25686907/clang-link-time-optimization-fails-for-avx-horizontal-add

I am on Xcode 6.2 - "Apple LLVM version 6.0 (clang-600.0.57) (based on LLVM 3.5svn)” and OS X 10.9. Does anybody know if there is any feasible workaround for this problem, and/or whether upgrading to a newer Xcode would solve the problem? I’d really rather not faff with upgrading to 10.10 right now (and hence be able to install a newer Xcode), but it would be helpful to know if that would fix this issue.

Cheers
Jonny
