AHA.
The issue is that the 3 icons in the layout at the top of the screen are off center. It's not you, It's Xcode.
Put your cursor on the left most border and press command shift 4. Mousedown and drag to the left of the yellow circle at the top. Look at the x distance. I get 265. Now, do the same from the right to the right of the orange box. I get 248.
The items at the top of the screen are off center, your placement isn't.
Also, when I drag the label off center, I get an orange line going from top to bottom through the center of my label. When it's in the center, it goes blue.
I get the same off center looking display as you, but it's the 3 icons up top that are off center, not your label.
Thanks for the screenshot. That made it pretty clear to identify.
