As I said in my reply yesterday, it can. I run it from a shell script in a
build phase which runs Packages and then does a little tidy up work and
signs the package generated.
So you did. Sorry, I missed that detail upon first reading. That's good to
know. Arguably, the old PackageMaker produced files that could be referred to
by the "xcrun packagemaker" command line. That didn't stop those files from
being SCM-unfriendly, however. I'm curious about how "Packages" stacks up in
that regard. Though we are perilously in off-topic territory for the Xcode
list.
