G** D*****.
I just wasted an hour on getting this to work and here's what I had to do.
Quit Xcode on the Server.
Reselect the VERY SAME version of Xcode that was previously selected.
Wait for the server to finish setting it up.
Turn it back on.
Now I can create a bot.
Sweet mother of @#$#@%#$^$%^^&^*
Honestly, I remember when us Mac users would laugh at the Windows guys and tell them, "Oh, you know. When in doubt, reboot. It's Windows.".
Why is it now that when using Apple's Development tools, it feels like Apple hired all the same people who inspired the "Windows level of confidence"?
We shouldn't have to set up the install TWICE to get it to work for the first time.
And do you think we have the time to report a bug on this? No. We've got to play catch up for the hour we lost trying to set up the tool in the first place.
Please stop making the tools' UI worse and focus on making the tools actually work out of the box. Please.
