GPX files and CoreLocation.

Platform:
Xcode 7.0.1
Mac OS 10.11
iOS 8.x

Not sure if this is Cocoa or an Xcode question, but here we go.

I'm doing some CoreLocation device location testing in our iOS app for stress testing and am going to be simulating locations with a GPX file that has waypoints.

When simulating a device location through this method, does anyone know the rate at which Xcode/Cocoa iterates through the waypoints in the GPX file and if this rate is adjustable?

Thanks in advance.
