I'm actually running Xcode 7 on a separate computer so I don't contaminate anything in my production Xcode 6.4 environment. I did a clean build when I first put the sources on that computer and just tried deleting the build folder and rebuilding. Same result as before.

Have you tried cleaning the build folder? (Cmd-Shift-Opt-K, or hold down Option and choose Product>Clean)
I often experience a spew of crazy internal build errors after switching between Xcode versions, if I don’t do this.
