One thing I've never been able to find out is exactly what this "Setting Mode" does.
Why I care is that on our iOS project, I've finally moved it into a framework (thanks in large part to the help I've had here and on the Cocoa list) that is reaching production and we are transitioning our main product line to it. I'm in the middle of moving this into a workspace and am working through the organization of the project and all its sub projects.
When we run the app from Xcode, it runs just fine and builds within a short period of time.
When we archive the app, there are several sub projects that go through a 30 second to 1 minute process of "Setting Mode" per executable.
So I have a clue what is happening and why this takes so long, what is going on within this "Setting Mode" phase?
Thanks much,
Alex Zavatone
