You can rename custom build phases, so someone probably changed the name to “Embed Frameworks”.

I have encountered the "Embed Frameworks" build phase a number of times recently. I'm the only person with access to my computer, and I didn't put it there. It comes up when I add the framework to my project as one of the first steps and then do a build. If I wait until later, when the project is further along, it comes up as "Copy Files" instead. They both work just fine if a framework is the only thing that needs to be copied.
