Test target never finished bootstrapping

Hi Xcode Users!

I am currently in framework dependancy hell.

I’m trying to run unit tests for an iOS dynamic framework, but I’ve got a couple of dependancies to other frameworks in the same workspace as well as one Carthage framework. My framework compiles just fine and I can use it within the iOS app (also in the same workspace), however I cannot run my test target for this framework.

I am constantly getting Test target MyFramework encountered an error (Early unexpected exit, operation never finished bootstrapping - no restart will be attempted). The test target seemingly compiles fine and then hangs a second or so, and then “fails”, the only output in the test target’s logs is as stated.

Can anyone tell me if and where I can find a more detailed log of this failure?

I’ve been trying all kinds of permutations and removing certain dependancies but it really is cryptic at this point. I really need to get some more detailed logs.

Hoping someone can help!
Thanks
Daniel
