I actually tried about a dozen times, getting either -22421, or
ERROR ITMS-90164: "Invalid Code Signing Entitlements. The entitlements in your app bundle signature do not match the ones that are contained in the provisioning profile. According to the provisioning profile, the bundle contains a key value that is not allowed: 'true' for the key 'get-task-allow' in 'Payload/3D Showcase.app/3D Showcase'"
(Note that a dozen previous successful uploads over the last few weeks have also all had 'get-task-allow' set to 'true'.)
I finally called iTunesConnect support, and they couldn't help, but were going to escalate it. They wanted a screenshot of what I was seeing, which I went to send them, when all of a sudden it worked.
I think iTunesConnect is having issues, but it's nearly impossible to convince Apple of that.

I then used the Application Loader application and the upload succeeded, although it gave me a warning (symbol file too large). You might try out this app just to see if it works for you.
