It is not on us to decide if a string is too long in a certain language. I had so many discussions with localizers and asked them to shorten their strings just in case ... Some texts simply run longer in some languages than in other languages. It is the idea of Auto Layout to auto-solve issues like that. You can even use text wrapping and other features to always get a desired result. If you use Auto Layout combined with Base I18n, the Assistant Editor offers a "Double-Length Pseudolanguage" which effectively shows all issues with "over-long" strings.
The basic issue still is the different behavior of defined Auto Layout in the Assistant Editor's Preview and the run-time app, isn't it?
