I am talking (as I should have mentioned) about Xcode 8 on macOS x.12.
The Console has:
Devices
“Name of my Mac"
nothing in here (would expect the output of my app, running on my Mac to appear here)
“Name of my iPhone"
lots of stuff here
Reports
several - none of which seems to contain any output of my app
The app is running not under Xcode now, but still should print a few NSLogs occasionally.
