Bus error 10 when trying to launch Xcode?

| Not sure what I did. I had version 8.3.1 of Xcode running fine since it came out. Now, trying to launch it, the icon jumps once in the dock, then goes back dormant. I tried to open it from the terminal and I’m getting a bus error 10???
Anybody has any clue? I did re-install after deleting it twice with same result. I’m running 10.12.4 on an retina MBP 15” from mid-2015.
Any help appreciated as I really need to get Xcode running.
