Suddenly have to register my watch???

All day, and since yesterday afternoon, I've been working on a simple iOS app for testing some stuff out. I build, run on my phone, and everything is fine.
I got up to get a snack, came back, ran the project again (I had taken my phone with me, so it was disconnected and reconnected), and now Xcode is telling me I have to register my Apple Watch to build this project.
Note that it has no Apple Watch component.
Why is this?
