Compiler flags for variable names

  • Subject: Compiler flags for variable names

We just ran into a case where we had heap corruption in one of out iOS apps where we had a programmer create a CoreData variable that started with "new".

Does anyone know if there are any compiler flags that allow checking for variables that start with text that can cause problems in Objective-C?

Thanks.
