I need to run El Capitan to regress a bug.
It's still available from the App Store, but when I press

If I could get it to download, I expect I can image it

I'm trying to determine whether a failed assertion in the

You would be able to download it from the AppStore with an older
version of the system.
But for this, you need to enrol to a developer
account.
Earlier today I logged on to developer.apple.com and could not find
any OS installers among the list of "more downloads".
