It may be possible to edit the text file directly without launching OE. It's
typically located in a path like this:
<disk:Documents:CORRESPONDENCE:Microsoft User
Data:Identities:Main
Identity:Preferences>
and includes settings for each account associated with each identity.
Totally untested, just a suggestion.
