pre OS 9 (or perhaps it's inherited from an older OE vers) "Identities:"
resided in the apps folder.
I recall successfully coaxing it from it's "Documents:" default on an OS 9
machine to the apps folder unaware the default location had changed.
I wonder if checking those two locations should be good enough.
