Actually, since the "book" only cost $15, I went a head a purchased it.

I can't speak with any authority as to the accuracy of the book because
I've just now started finding projects to use AppleScript. Also, I
haven't had a lot of time to read through the book. From what I have
seen and read so far, I'm impressed with his writing style and clarity
of his explanations. I think that it was money well spent. If anyone is
interested, after spending more time with the book, I can post a review
from a novice's point of view.
