Does anyone know how an image (TIFF or JPEG) can be used as the background of a dialog box in AppleScript? What would be involved in trying to implement this? I'm not sure how to approach this in OS X.

You could definitely do this in Xcode and that's how I'd suggest you go about it. You can't do it in 'vanilla' AppleScript, maybe there is an OSAX that would help, although I haven't seen one.

Hope that's of some help
