I think you may be a bit out-of-date yourself with that one. The O'Reilly's
book "AppleScript in a Nutshell" which just came out a couple of months ago
is bang up-to-date, including OS X. It also has a sort of official Apple
imprimatur, leading me to suspect that Apple doesn't plan their own update
to ASLG too soon.
