I wonder why we see different results after updating.
Like Rob, I now have what claims to be System Events 1.2, modified 1/29/03,
in [OS X Hard Disk]/System/Library/CoreServices/, after installing OS 10.2.4
over a 10.2.3 system which included System Events 2.0 beta. (At least I
_think_ that's the version number it had after installing the
Dec2002SystemEvents.pkg in Pre-Release Software folder of the
Dec2002DevTools.) The dictionary for System Events still has the full
Processes Suite as installed there by the beta.
Perhaps someone who never installed the beta could check whether the
Processes Suite, a huge suite of 10 commands beginning with 'decrement' and
44 classes ending with 'splitter', is installed on your machine, and what
version of System Events you have in CoreServices?
