To put the current screensaver onto the desktop...

This saved as an app works well, except that the applescript app won't
quit. I have to force quit this 'launching applet' every time. And, no,
it's not stay open. : )
Is there a command line option that I am not aware of that alters the
way the process runs? Do I need to put the output into (
dev/null/A&/~/unixy/crypto/stuff/iDon'tKnow ) or some such? In fact no
one else has mentioned this issue that I can find.
