Turns out I've been using iPhoto 1.1.1 which seems like (from the
web-site documentation) it should be scriptable, but isn't. I
downloaded iPhoto 2 and lo and behold, there is the dictionary,
as advertised.

Thanks for the pointer on the version information!

Eric,

Using Script Debugger 3.0.5, the iPhoto Dictionary opens right up for me. It
shows a rather extensive iPhoto suite.
