I shut down my computer at night, and my wife is the first one to turn it on in the morning.

As the for th VNC Session, the latest version allows you to have another user logged in while you take over only your session, hence the need for the script below.

So, I've discovered VNC and want to use it during the day while I'm
at work. The problem is that my wife uses the computer at home under
her account. Most of the time, she doesn't launch my account, then
fast user switch to her account. I'm trying to figure out how to
write a script to be triggered when she logs in that does the following:

Triggering action: User B logs into the machine.
Script actions:
1) Login as User A
2) Optional - Launch OSXVnc - (this is configured to fire when I
login, but I'm not sure if that still happens when logging in via
script)
3) Launch iPhoto (to share libraries)
4) Fast User switch back to User B

Since this is all on the same machine, I'm not worried about
passwords being passed in clear text as it's just the two of us.

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. I
was unable to find anything close to this on google, or a "Login"
event in the applescript help file online.

Why log out? Instead of logging out of your own account (User A), choose
Login Window from the Fast User Switching menu. Your wife can then log in
(User B) when she wants and you will still be logged in.

Having said that, I am not sure what you want to do with OSXVnc. If you mean
the server then I would have thought that if your wife is on the computer
you would then take over the computer, not just your login session.
