When to use rounded NSTextFields

  • Subject: When to use rounded NSTextFields

Are there any instances where rounded text fields should be used other
than in a search field? I did a search through the Aqua Human Interface
Guidelines, and I could find anything. Can you just use them anywhere,
or are there only certain places to use them? What about placeholder
text? I'm assuming that because there aren't guidelines written up yet,
it's pretty much up to you, but I might have missed something in the
guidelines. Thanks.
