I've had this happen myself; the solution (if I recall correctly) was to
cancel the panel, then in the Finder navigate to where you saved the
project. I went into the folder I'd saved the project in, and a split
second *after* the folder's contents were listed, *then* my project folder
showed up.
After that, I just went back to IB / Xcode and they both were able to "see"
the project folder.
It seems that the Finder isn't as quick at detecting all new directories (in
Panther vs. Jaguar).... At least not on my system. (Which is odd, because
everything else seems much faster than under Jaguar on the same machine....)
