XCode with different compilier?

  • Subject: XCode with different compilier?

Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to supported embedded systems development on the Mac. Now that I have created a programmer ( http://www.piap.com/macpsoc ) I'm setting my sights on code development. At first I thought I would try to write my own little code editor, but, then I started to wonder about using Xcode.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use Xcode with an arbitrary compiler/assembler? Would I need to create an SDK for the embedded environment? Can you offer any hints on how to do this?

Thanks,
Eric
