It is not generally recommended to install private frameworks in /Frameworks. You should install them in your app's bundle if there's not a very good argument against it.

You may be an advanced user but everyone else might not be.

Exactly my point.

If you are that untrusting of software from a developer you've never heard
about then don't use the installer package and do without the software.

That's what I do sometimes. But usually you want users to use your app, not dump it, no?
