question about NSNaturalTextAlignment

  • Subject: question about NSNaturalTextAlignment
  • From: Chris Meyer <email@hidden>
  • Date: Tue, 24 Feb 2004 20:18:29 -0800

I'm trying to highlight one of four alignment buttons (left, right, center, justifier) for text (basically doing the same thing the ruler would be doing for an NSTextView).

How does the ruler used in the NSTextView determine which button to highlight if the text alignment is determined to be NSNaturalTextAlignment? The documentation in NSText says "Use the natural alignment of the texts script." But how to determine the "natural alignment" of a "script"?

Any help is appreciated.
