Button key equivalent causes button to be pressed twice

  • Subject: Button key equivalent causes button to be pressed twice

Could anyone help me with this anomaly?

When an NSButton's key equivalent is set to a function key in the interface builder, for example F6, the button is pressed *twice* when the function key is used at run time. If a modifier is also applied in the interface builder, for example the command key, the button is pressed once at run time. I would like to provide simple function key equivalents without unnecessary modifiers.

Mike Thorpe.
