Absolutely true!!! Thanks for reminding me not to think too much :-)
I am able to compare the object with its name.
i am using something like
if(OultetName/InstanceVariable == [aNotification object])
{
//resize the views.
}

The outlet name is the same as the name of the instance
variable. Just
compare the result of the -[NSNotification object] method to your
instance variables to find out which one is equal.
